About Me #

So you want to know more about me? You can always check my LinkedIn but I can save you some time1. Here’s a brief overview of my professional journey so far.

Note that this is a bit formal but I wanted to keep this part of the page professional. If you’re interested in some more personal stuff, you can find it at the end of this page.

Bio #

I am an AI engineer and practitioner specializing in AI safety and security. I am currently working as an ML Security Engineer at Snowflake, where I’m working on securing AI in Data Cloud. My expertise lies at the intersection of machine learning and security, with a focus on AI-powered solutions for enterprises.

Before joining the industry, I worked as a Research Scientist at the MI2.AI lab at Warsaw University of Technology, where I contributed to research on Explainable AI (XAI) and Trustworthy AI. My work also explored applying machine learning in healthcare, particularly survival analysis. You can find more information about my research projects here. In addition to research, I gained experience as a teaching assistant for courses on machine learning and data science.

My achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards, including two merit-based Scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Student Nobel Prize in Technical Sciences2.

Other Stuff #

C’mon, you didn’t think it’s all about work, did you? Here are some my other interests…

  • 📚 Microlearning: After finishing my studies, I’ve been trying to keep up with learning new things and found microlearning to be effective for me.
  • Quiz Shows: I really like quiz shows and trivia games. 1 z 10 is my favorite Polish one, but British Only Connect is something I can watch for hours (despite not knowing most of the answers). Maybe one day I’ll participate in some quiz show myself.
  • 🏅 Sports: I’m a big fan of tennis and volleyball (Projekt Warszawa!). During winter, I also enjoy watching biathlon competitions.
  • 📽️ Films: I’m a film buff (or at least I like to think so). I have a soft spot for (most) A24 productions, as well as Greta Gerwig, Noah Baumbach, and Ari Aster films, while Her by Spike Jonze is my all-time favorite.
  • 🎵 Music: For the past few years, I have a thing for sad, melancholic indie tunes. That’s why my favorite artists include Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Bon Iver. But since high school, I’ve been a huge fan of Lorde and she’s still my number one. Oh, and before that, I was more into rock music (RHCP, Kings of Leon).

  1. … and of course, you won’t be spotted as one of the visitors who checked my LinkedIn profile. ↩︎

  2. Yes, I know it sounds really LinkedIn-ish, but I’m really proud of it, so I had to mention it here. ↩︎

  3. Yes, I know high school is not that important, but I really enjoyed (most of) my time there and became interested in computer science, so, in a way, it was a crucial step in my career path as well. ↩︎
